This Privacy Policy explains how Compass Clock ("the App", "we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use the App.

1. Overview

Compass Clock is a wallpaper and GIF creation application. Some data is stored locally on your device in order to provide core features. In addition, the App uses third-party services such as Google AdMob and Firebase, and those services may collect certain information automatically to deliver ads, measure app performance, and diagnose crashes.

2. Information We Process

We may process information in the following ways:

• Local app data stored on your device, such as wallpaper preferences, favorites, and app settings.
• Images you choose for GIF creation or wallpaper customization, which are processed to provide requested features.
• Technical and diagnostics data collected automatically by third-party services integrated into the App.

3. Third-Party Services

The App currently uses the following third-party services:

• Google AdMob for displaying advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, device information, ad interaction data, and other signals used to serve, personalize, measure, and protect advertising.
• Firebase Analytics for usage analytics, such as app events, general device information, and interaction data.
• Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting and stability monitoring, which may collect crash logs, device state information, operating system version, and app version information.

4. Advertising and Consent

The App may display ads through Google AdMob. Depending on your region, you may be shown a notice or consent request related to privacy, ad personalization, or data processing before certain ads are served.

5. Subscription and Payment Data

The App offers VIP subscription features through Google Play Billing. When you view, purchase, restore, switch, or manage a subscription, the App may process subscription-related information such as:

• Google Play purchase status, product ID, base plan ID, and subscription expiry time.
• Purchase token, pending order status, acknowledgment status, and verification result.
• Device, app, and request metadata needed to communicate with Google Play and our verification service.

Subscriptions are paid and managed through Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card number, card security code, or full billing account details. Google Play processes the payment and may collect and process information according to its own privacy policy and billing terms.

To confirm whether a subscription is still valid, the App sends purchase-related data to our server-side verification endpoint. That verification flow may include the package name, product ID, and purchase token, together with request metadata used for authentication and anti-abuse protection.

6. Permissions Used by the App

The App may request or declare the following permissions for feature support:

• android.permission.SET_WALLPAPER to set wallpapers.
• android.permission.INTERNET to access online services such as ads and analytics.
• android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE to detect network availability.
• com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID to support advertising-related functionality where permitted.
• android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE to access images selected by you on supported Android versions.
• android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE on older Android versions where saving exported files requires it.

7. How We Use Information

Information processed by the App may be used to:

• Provide wallpaper, GIF creation, and related app features.
• Save your preferences and settings locally on your device.
• Display and measure advertisements.
• Process, verify, restore, and maintain VIP subscription access.
• Detect subscription payment issues, pending orders, and entitlement changes.
• Analyze usage trends and improve app stability and performance.
• Detect, prevent, or investigate technical issues and abuse.

8. Data Storage and Retention

App preferences and certain created content are stored locally on your device unless a third-party service processes data for advertising, analytics, crash reporting, subscription billing, or subscription verification. Retention periods for data handled by third-party services are governed by those providers' own policies. Locally, the App may cache subscription state, purchase tokens, pending order details, and related entitlement metadata so the subscription page can restore or refresh your status.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law for independent consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can review the situation.

10. International Processing

Third-party services integrated into the App may process information on servers located in different countries. By using the App, you understand that information may be processed outside your country of residence, subject to applicable law and the safeguards used by those providers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date shown above. Your continued use of the App after an update becomes effective means you acknowledge the update.
